Understanding if we are the right fit is vital for the success of our therapeutic work together. Therapy is a personal and collaborative process, and finding a therapist/counsellor with whom you connect is essential.
I welcome you to explore my website and have a scroll through my Instagram. Both will provide insights into my background, therapeutic approach, and the atmosphere of our potential sessions. It's important to get a sense of who I am and whether my approach resonates with your needs and preferences.
Also, don't hesitate to reach out via email or via the contact form provided. I welcome questions, concerns and any information you may need clarification on. This initial communication allows us to start the conversation and lays the foundation for understanding your individual needs.
Also keep in mind that I offer a free 15-minute phone call. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your current needs, any expectations and lingering questions. It is a commitment free chat that can offer insight into whether I might be a fit for your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!

Please note if you have private health insurance you may be able to claim some of your costs under ‘Occupational Therapy’.
-
Occupational Therapy (OT) sessions delivered via telehealth may be eligible for rebates through some private health insurers, depending on your level of cover.
It's best to check directly with your health fund to confirm:
Whether your policy includes OT services
If telehealth OT appointments are covered (inc. what item codes they use)
Any limits or requirements for claiming
Please note: I do not process private health claims directly, but can provide you with an invoice to support your claim.
-
Payment can be made online via credit card or organised via bank transfer. An invoice will be sent after each session with the relevant details. If you’re eligible for a private health rebate, you can use the invoice to submit a claim with your health fund.

Presently I only work with female partners experiencing betrayal trauma.
-
There are many overlaps in how counsellors, psychologists, and trauma-informed professionals support those impacted by betrayal. Often, what matters most is not the title but the quality of the relationship, safety, and understanding.
As an Occupational Therapist, my lens is shaped by how betrayal trauma can impact your ability to function, relate, and connect with yourself and the world. I pay close attention to the nervous system, identity, daily roles, and the sense of self that may feel lost or fragmented after betrayal.
You’ll find similarities such as:
A focus on emotional safety, boundaries, and self-understanding
A supportive space to process grief, trauma responses, and relationship uncertainty
Therapeutic language and models that support understanding when things feel confusing or intense
Psychoeducation to help normalise common trauma responses
Consideration of how betrayal impacts your nervous system, identity, and daily functioning

As a Clinical Partner Specialist Candidate with APSATS (Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists), I’ve undertaken training in betrayal trauma that recognises the experience of partners as valid and traumatic, rather than pathologising or minimising their response.
APSATS offers a partner-sensitive, trauma-informed approach that aligns with my work as an Occupational Therapist in mental health, supporting women to feel safe in their bodies, reconnect with who they are, and find meaning after the rupture of betrayal. It’s one of the frameworks I draw on, alongside my OT foundations.
